Use this article to manage WHOIS Privacy for eligible domain names.

Before You Start

  • WHOIS Privacy availability depends on registry rules.
  • Some domain extensions automatically redact contact information.

Enable WHOIS Privacy

  1. Log in to your Instra account.
  2. Navigate to Domain Management.
  3. Select the domain.
  4. Open WHOIS Privacy settings.
  5. Enable WHOIS Privacy.
  6. Save your changes.

Disable WHOIS Privacy

  1. Log in to your Instra account.
  2. Navigate to Domain Management.
  3. Select the domain.
  4. Open WHOIS Privacy settings.
  5. Disable WHOIS Privacy.
  6. Save your changes.

Expected Result

WHOIS Privacy status is updated for the selected domain.
